Home Community Base Services is seeking Direct Support Professionals to work with adults that have intellectual disabilities in their homes and in the community. The ideal candidate will be passionate about helping others and be comfortable teaching activities of daily living to adults with special needs. We hire trained and experienced caregivers that work independently and welcome those committed to the highest standard of care. Our staff play a crucial role in assisting individuals live active and engaging lives both in their homes and in the community.

To apply, you must:
- Provide a resume
- Be 18 years old or older
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Provide Child Abuse Clearance
- Provide Criminal Record Clearance
- Provide FBI Fingerprint Clearance
- Have a valid Drivers License, Vehicle Registration and Vehicle Insurance
- Be able to work independently
- (Experience preferred)
Responsibilities include:
- Attend Mandatory Meetings
- Read Client Support Plans
- Electronic Paperwork
- Daily Electronic Progress Notes
- Assist individuals in making progress on their goals as stated in their support plan
- Teach ADL’s
- Dependability
- Compassion
Safety Requirements
- Maintains an environment that is healthy, safe and nurturing
- Assists individuals with healthcare visits, medication and therapy plans
- Follows all policies and procedures
